I have the pleasure of teaching second grade at a diverse charter school in Nevada. It is a Title I school where the majority of students come from bilingual homes and all students receive free or reduced lunch. No matter the challenges my students face at home, they come to school eager to learn with a huge smile on their face. Our school is truly a community. We are one big family who works together to ensure the success of our students, no matter the obstacles. Our students know that anything is possible and they work hard to achieve their goals.
