This is a group of 25 kindergarteners in central Wisconsin. They are in a K-5 school with 300+ students from a variety of racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Many are from low income situations. The students also have a wide range of social and academic skills. Most embrace every new learning experience and act as "sponges," soaking up everything they can, as many do not get the opportunity to participate in activities like they do at school.
