My sixth grade Jr. High students need "Wiggle Room" as opposed to our current tiny desk/chair combo set-up. I have incorporated Good Will finds for various tables and stools, but wanted to seek out more portable desk options. The Gaiam Balance Ball Chair is my first try at using balance balls in my classroom since I have numerous students with ADHD and the need to move is so important. Bouncy bands will be a welcome addition to our classroom so my fidgety students can bounce their feet and legs but not distract their very attention deficit teacher. In this way, student needs can be met in a fun way.
