When I was in college, I learned there are eight learning styles. When I became a teacher, I learned there are infinite learning styles. Though students may bare similarities to each other, each student has a learning language specific to his or her self, like a fingerprint. The idea that students have to learn sitting down is lunacy. A lot of our students struggle to remain in there seat, and when they are forced to, they spend more time focusing on sitting than they do learning our curriculum. A standing desk will be the first step in a new age of education.
