My science students are willing learners that belong to a small but mighty school. We are a small, urban public school. Our school houses high schoolers (9-12). My students disadvantage is the high poverty area that they are apart of and not the effort in academics or extracurricular activities. Most of their activities, events, and special occasions such as homecoming activities, they have participated in fundraising to have these activities. Everyday my students come to class ready to achieve academic success.
