Our goal is to expand our classroom library to continue to promote literacy and support their love for reading! We would need to add books to our collection that focus on multiculturalism and character development. Furthermore, we would like to expand on our brain break activities to continue to build a positive classroom community and promote social and cognitive development. Board games that are needed to promote social/emotional learning include "Silly Street", "Blurt", "Social Skills Boxed Set", and "Guess Who". For intervention purposes I have requested Lakeshore "Place Value" and "Equivalent Fractions" puzzle games. Finally, as the school year progresses we tend to run low on classroom supplies including dry erase markers and erasers ( for individual white boards). We will use whiteboards particularly in Math as it will serve the purpose of informally assessing student learning. College-ruled 1-subject notebooks will be used for note-taking and writing.
