Many of my students don't have access to magazines at home. TIME for Kids is a great way to begin their exposure to magazines. TIME for Kids is helpful when teaching students to recognize and value the importance of reading, writing/journalism. It is aligned with the state curriculum to help support the instructional needs of teachers. The stories included in each magazine are age appropriate and teach lessons about the world we live in. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' reading skills, as well as, reinforce important lessons taught in their classrooms about the world around them.
