I am a second year teacher, but first year to this grade level. This project will help me supplement my Mathematics curriculum with the most current and exciting games. Students learn in many different ways, games in a classroom setting not only helps with content information but it helps develop problem solving skills and promotes teamwork. 21st century learning acknowledges that Mathematical problems can be solved in many different ways. By introducing games during my center time, my students will get access to the many different ways a problem can be solved. Having these resources in my classroom will expose my under privilidged students to new experiences and encourage them to increase their math fluency. By having these resources, I will be to address the learning needs of all the students in all of my Math classes. It is my hope to foster the love for Math and I believe having these materials will help considerably.
