These materials will help support our social emotional curriculum and help the children feel safe while exploring their feelings. This will also reinforce ways to calm down when upset, identify their feelings, and reflect on how they feel. Social competencies are key to kindergarten readiness and developing strong peer relationships. We want to encourage the children to explore their feelings in a safe place before they have hard feelings. This center will give them the space to work with their feeling before, during and after they have an big feeling. Please help us create this space for our young children.
