My students' reading levels span across a wide range of ability. My students also have many different interests, however, I have found that once a child finds a series they enjoy reading they continue reading eagerly until they have completed the series. All it takes is the interest in a book to spark a child's love for reading. I want to provide my students with as many opportunities as possible to discover their passion for reading! I try to fill my classroom library with as many different series as I can. In my room each student has a book box where they can keep the books from our classroom library that they are reading. Students use the books they have chosen not only for independent reading but also for word work and other literacy activities.
