This will be my first year as a teacher, I will be in a school where students are from low income but willing to learn. As an educator I would like to provide the best resources for my students. One of my goals for this year, is nurture the like for reading. I want my students to have a comfortable classroom library, for them to go and read. By having three bean bags and not hard chairs, the students will be more comfortable and more likely to go to the classroom library because they enjoy reading in a comfortable bean bag. Students will be encourage to go to the library at least twice a week. Reading should be something they enjoy and not just because they have to. Reading is part of writing and every other subject. Also, I wanted to get a book display stand where we will place books so these are visible and inviting.
