I will use these items to model thinking, create awareness of current events, and help develop an understanding of the world at large. The learners can reflect on what they read and how they read it. The layout with beautiful graphics and online teaching resources will give the kids stimulation to stay engaged and hopefully they will maintain excitement to turn the page and keep learning! Reading is an essential skill for life and using nonfiction to hone that ability is priceless to all students at any level!
