My students will use the Asus 11.6' Chromebook as part of their daily reading centers. There are many websites such as flipgrid, starfall, Book Creator, I-Ready Reading and Math that are geared toward students' reading and interest levels that would help them progress in their reading skills. Flipgrid will be used for students to ask and answer questions through a video response. Starfall and I-Ready Reading will be used to practice phonics, phonemic awareness and comprehension skills. I-Ready Math will be used to help students practice math skills such as addition, subtraction, and other math concepts. This is just some of the ways will become TECHY 1ST GRADERS!
