Every student is unique. So why do we expect them all to learn in the same way? Flexible seating will allow my students to find ways in which they feel comfortable in the classroom based on their personal preferences and ready to learn! While some students will choose to work in a single desk for 75 minutes and learn efficiently, others students can choose to use alternative seating such as: Self-Standing Sitting Balls, Go Anywhere Chairs, and NonSlip Inflatable Exercise Balls. Research shows that most students need to move and stretch once in a while to be able to be alert, engaged, and ready to learn! That is my goal with this project. I want to be able to provide my students with what they need academically while they continue to be themselves while in a modern-style classroom designed for culturally diverse learning.
