Typically in a math class, notes are taken with the teacher sitting at the front of the room and the students in their seats monotonously following along. The notes are necessary but the students are not fully engaged. With your donation, the Slate will be a key tool in revamping the dreaded notes portion of class by increasing student attention and focus and have the students actively participating in the lesson. The slate allows me to walk around the classroom freely while having the students take a chance to be involved in completing examples on the screen. The students and I would appreciate any help in purchasing this new, innovative technology for our classroom.
