Listening is a key skill for success! Having the opportunity to create groups from 1 to 10 students within the listening center will help with differentiation making it possible to meet the needs for all of my students. The mobile aspect of this resource will allow students to move around the room while they are working. The students who are the most engaged are the ones who think they matter most to the teacher. My ultimate goal, as an educator, is student engagement. A listening center gives those students who struggle with reading or struggle with the engagement of reading an opportunity to be read to.
