Our students are engaged when they have real life opportunities to see their academic work in progress. Conducting this science based project in our classrooms would excite and motivate our students through science, as we teach literature, writing, and math during the day. The project also helps us learn about our neighbor farmers, and the work it takes to produce the food we eat. Our little learners will love learning about chicken life cycles. The supplies we are asking to be donated are important for the implementation of our project. We formed a partnership with a local farm, and our local farm bureau to get the rest of the supplies. We need additional incubators, and brooders for each classroom so that our projects will be successful.
