Technology is everywhere and is a huge part of my children's culture. It positively impacts how they learn, play and just enjoy different experiences daily. There are many benefits to utilizing technology in the classroom and the purpose of this project is to acquire materials that can challenge my students and continue creating an environment of excellence. Utilizing technology in the classroom will assist me in developing different skill sets in my students. I want to provide access to technology to my students for three reasons. Reason number one: it will give my students opportunities to work in teams and increase their ability to collaborate. Reason number two: technology allows all students to be engaged no matter their learning style. Reason number three: technology transforms the learning experience. I will utilize different online interactive tools such as Nearpod that can stimulate students and provide opportunities to assess students multiple times during the lesson.
