As part of my school's self-directed focus, we incorporate Project Based Learning into our classrooms. This allows our students to learn essential standards while providing them voice and choice in the classroom. A useful component of PBL's is the access to technology. Two Chromebooks will allow my students to create dazzling projects and aid in their research. My students build catapults to study parabolic equations and the addition of two Chromebooks will allow them to research and evaluate possible designs. To better understand systems of equations, they design their own products, create business plans and present them to local small business owners and need to be able to create spreadsheets, drawing and interactive presentations. The addition of two Chromebooks will help in these endeavors.
