My kindergarten students will be able to stand in front of their peers and display their writing samples, math equations, and art drawings with this new ELMO document camera. When a student can show their thought process, they begin to understand how they arrived at their answer, and they can then teach other students how to do it. It creates a classroom full of learners and teachers collaboratively working together. One of our first math concepts that we learn in kindergarten is sorting. The students will be able to sort objects such as buttons and then project their sorted piles with this document camera. They will be able to use their speaking skills to teach the class how they sorted the pieces.
