Do you remember what it was like to be excited about a certain subject or class in school? I love teaching social studies to middle school students because it is a subject they all can succeed in, even if they struggle academically in other subjects. I try to create a classroom environment that makes them excited to enter my room and learn. Unfortunately, our district does not have a budget for social studies curriculum and I need to get creative with resources. I would love to provide my classes with technology that would help them quickly engage with the material that they are learning.
