We need a new easel to improve student learning! The easel is a hub for learning in first grade! It could store valuable resources used for whole group and small group instruction, such as dry erase markers, math manipulatives, books, and would be a great way to display anchor charts on what we are currently learning. It also had a white board for teacher-led instruction, as well as student-led by being dry erase and magnetic. This easel would make our lives much more functional and organized, which can make learning more enjoyable! My current easel is very small and just stands on a table. I am constantly having to use tape to hang up my anchor charts on top of my smart board, then having to take it down, and store somewhere else just for the day. This new easel can be stationary and also can easily move on wheels. It's much, much bigger and allows for the students to be more interactively engaged!
