Technology is an extremely useful tool for students to use in the classroom. Unfortunately, my schools' technology is under-developed and students do not have access to the necessary technology. I have many exciting plans that require technology, such as research projects, author studies, and learning how to collaborate on online tasks. My students have just been set up with Google accounts for the use of its Classroom application and the Translate app. If students have the appropriate technology in the classroom, they could easily access ELA content materials and resources, upload assignments and receive their grades, peer review, and edit partners' work, and translate unknown words. I would love to use technology to its full capacity with my students to better support their needs. Having technology in the classroom will allow students to apply their studies into the real world and produce it digitally.
