Children of all ages are mobile. They learn best when they can move and discover. I try to give my students many opportunities to move during a class period; however, that is not always possible in a traditional classroom environment. These types of flexible seating options give students the ability to move around even more during class. Bounce balls and active stools are flexible seating options that will allow many of my students to have an outlet for their energy. This will enable them to focus on learning. All students learn in different ways and I want my classroom to meet the various learning needs of the students that walk through the doors. Flexible seating will aid in providing them that environment.
