My classroom is changing, and we are in need of classroom set of computers for reading software, career exploration, and various classroom projects. I teach in a Special Education classroom with severe and profound learners. My class is active in PAES lab, and career exploration. The students participate in Community Work, as well as simulated workplace. The computers are essential for my classroom to improve their reading ability and move towards a goal of independence. Our goal is to prepare them for the work force, in a way that works for them. We currently utilize a mobile lab that is often over booked, and the machines do not always work properly.
