As a preschool teacher, I am always searching for ways to bring the world into the classroom for my students to interact with in meaningful ways. iPads give my students the technological platform to practice skills, research topics, build understanding, and share their learning with each other, their families, and our school community. We will use them as a whole class, in small groups, in pairs, and as individuals. I am especially excited to use the Hexbugs and Code-and-Go Mouse to provide ample opportunities for the students to plan, problem solve, work in teams, and document their experiences. Once my students have explored how the Hexbugs and Code-and-go Mouse works, they will work in together to plan pathways, overcome obstacles, and build persistence.
