Being a first year teacher, I want to be able to provide my students with as many resources as possible. The materials and supplies I am requesting like a variety of art materials, whiteboards, and books will be used by the students directly throughout the school year. These materials will help my students grow as individuals and will be an influential part for us to have a successful school year. White boards and thin Expo markers will be used in the classroom as a way for me to assess student progress when working as a whole group appropriately for their grade level. By doing this I can determine student progress and adjust lessons appropriately to make sure all students can be successful. By donating to our project, I will be able to provide my students with a variety of opportunities to help them grow and be successful in the classroom. These materials are not only to ensure my students will have a great start, but also allow me to have a great start to my first year of teaching!
