It's hard to focus when you're overheating! The team suffers - somewhat silently- as they temperature climbs, sometimes passing the 100 degree mark, in the stagnant room. I can feel the sweat drip down my back, and I'm sitting at a table in the back. The doors are open but even when it's cool outside, the body heat of 64 teenagers is distracting. They need large fans! It's a simple supply that will provide an exponential increase in their productivity! Circulation will create a much more conducive environment year-round. We can't make any changes to the facility without district process, which literally takes years. These students consider the Cheer/Dance Room their second home. They deserve a more workable atmosphere.
