My veteran players and the new girls trying out will need multiple balls to make it an effective and productive tryout and practice. With only a few balls, practices are not able to be productive, as time is wasted on waiting to get a ball. There are only so many drills and activities that can be done with the few balls we currently have. Making the best of the short amount of time we have for practices will be possible with more balls. I can only imagine how much better each player will get if they are constantly touching a ball and improving on their consistency, whether it is serving, setting, or passing with a partner or alone. I know they would be so grateful and happy to see that others care enough to make a difference in their lives.
