Who doesn't love getting a letter in the mail? Especially when it's on nice stationery? The fourth graders at Charles Barrett will be inspired to participate in our pen-pal project through sending and receiving letters written on beautiful stationery. The stationery I'd like to use for our pen-pal program features nature and animal scenes. The fourth graders at Charles Barrett Elementary School in Alexandria, Virginia will use these appealing notecards and envelopes for a very special purpose: corresponding with their new penpals at the Saint Martin de Porres Senior Center. The seniors will also receive blank notecards and envelopes so that writing back to their fourth grade penpals will be easy for them as well!
