My special education classroom will be implementing flexible seating this year! This exciting change not only provides them with comfortable seating options, but also provides them with sensory input and increases blood flow which stimulates the brain, helping them learn. Flexible seating requires a new way of storing and organizing! With the removal of most of our traditional desks and chairs, there is no longer the under-the-desk-storage for the students' books, binders, and folders. This Storage Cubby Locker will provide each of my students with a space of their own to stay organized and store the books and materials they need in school.
