All of my students struggle day-to-day in the classroom. Most of them have a difficult time staying focused, keeping a calm body, and staying engaged throughout a lesson. Many of my students also struggle with sensory overload, which can lead to anxiety, meltdowns, or unsafe behaviors. Because it is challenging for them to stay in control of themselves independently, I would like to bring more sensory tools into our classroom to better support the diverse needs of my students. The products I have chosen will help my students sit safely in their seats, keep their body and mind in a calm state, and give them the opportunity to actively participate in a lesson. I have seen how much sensory tools have impacted my students' learning for the better and would love to add to our sensory toolbox! My students are excited to explore, build their knowledge, and achieve their goals. It is necessary that they are given the successful tools to do so.
