My students need flexible seating choices in order to help them do their best learning! Flexible seating gives students choice in their learning environment to help them take charge of their learning. An uncomfortable student is distracted and less productive! Students need to move!! Flexible seating allows my students to wobble, wiggle, rock, and move while they are learning. This increases oxygen to the brain, blood flow, and core strength all while helping my students to be more productive! My students will be able to choose from wobble chairs, wobble cushions, and balance ball seats to help them move and feel comfortable while learning! With being in a special education classroom, this would give my students the support they need to help them gain the same benefits and opportunities in their education as their general ed peers.
