My name is Ms. Moreno and I will be teaching 4th grade! I am a first year teacher and I need some help getting started! Let me share my vision for my classroom: In my classroom, I want my students to feel safe, comfortable and supported. I want to have dedicated spaces for morning meetings and group instruction, as well as a library fit for all students. I would love to add plants to the classroom to liven and cleanse the space! My students are from a mostly latino community in south west Chicago. Most are considered low income and many come from families who have migrated to the U.S. and may not speak English. While I expect that my students will all speak English, I also expect that for many, English may be a second language. It would be amazing to have a multitude of supports for these English language learners. Please see my projects to find ways you can support my amazing students!
