Flexible seating allows students to choose a spot that works the best for them to learn. In my kindergarten classroom, we call them "Smart Spots." We currently have scoop chairs, stools, wobble cushions and regular cushions. The children have been doing an amazing job choosing their seats during independent work and using them appropriately. As I am transitioning to a classroom that has all flexible seating options, I am hoping that I will be able to incorporate wobble chairs into it. I have seen them in action in other classrooms, and these chairs motivate students and engage them in their learning. Please help me bring this idea to life in my classroom!
