In kindergarten, we build the foundational skills necessary for students to become successful readers. A comfortable listening center will entice students to choose this center. It will help engage students in many different genres of books. It will allow my students the opportunity to hear fluent reading with fun voices and sounds. This will encourage them to practice reading and enhance their education. Listening centers also help foster independence and build listening skills. I believe instilling a love of reading early in a child's education will help them experience success in school. The more children read, the more they learn!

About my class
