To be successful in Algebra II, and any math beyond that, students would benefit with a graphing calculator. Not all students can afford a calculator that costs $120+. Graphing calculators will also help students with their ACT test. Students wishing to go to college need to have a good successful ACT score and a successful grade on their transcript. Having Graphing calculators in my room for students to use will help them be successful and have more self confidence. They can get comfortable with these calculators and that will help them through Algebra II, the ACT, and college algebra. When a student feels successful they try harder and work harder to achieve more.
