My students have a difficult time organizing their school materials. Pencil boxes and extra desk organizers are great tools for my classroom and students. These tools encourage my students to work at organization and foster their independence on how they organize their learning materials to best meet their needs. Although theses are simple classroom tools, they enhance our learning environment for both my students and me. Students also take pride in taking care of their boxes because they get to take them home at the end of the school year. My students look forward to and anticipate these simple classroom organizational tools.
