Each year, my co-teacher and I invest in the lives of about 25 kindergarten students. We live in a small town in Iowa, where families and schools are a priority. Our kids are children of farmers, doctors, teachers, small business owners, etc. The town takes great pride in investing in the lives of our future. Our school district is one of the top in the state thanks to parent and community volunteers, hard-working employees, and children who love to learn. Our district's mission statement is" Maximizing Life's Opportunities for EVERY Child!" My co-teacher and I love creating a solid foundation for these kindergarten students to be life-long learners. As people say, "Everything you need to know, you learned in kindergarten."
