My students are amazing, college-bound scholars who are always stressed when looking for a printer on our technology-challenged campus. They want to print out scholarships or college essays for peers and teachers to edit. Trying to upload, email, scan, or fax an important document is nearly impossible. They typically have to scrounge around campus looking for a teacher's printer and borrow the teacher's laptop to make anything happen. My students work hard, and I would like to alleviate their stress.
I want my students to have a wireless, all-in-one printer that is centrally located and is dedicated for the students use only. They will be able to scan documents such as their transcripts, brag sheets, and resume's for colleges to see. They will be able to print papers they are working on for school or college essays/scholarships for others to edit or to scan and submit. They will be able to do this not only wirelessly but also from their own phones! This will alleviate their stress and help streamline not only their college process but also essays/projects they need to print out for school. The ability to copy will also assist my students in copying notes from another student or making an extra copy of a scholarship or an application.
