The winters in Minnesota can feel long and cold, especially when you are a 5-6-year-old. We have many days that are too cold to be spent outside so we have indoor recess. I am hoping to add these items to the classroom to make recess exciting and fun for the students. They work hard the rest of the day on their curriculum and it would be nice for them to be able to play for a period of time. The activities are still stimulating for the students and the storage bin will help us keep our classroom rule, which is: "keep your classroom clean." We work on personal responsibility and that will add to that.
