These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by helping them to read along with words that are so very unfamiliar to them. My fabulous bunch of 31 first grade English Language Learners will be able to listen and hear words that they do not understand. By establishing this listening center of headphones, cd player, easel and caddies, my kiddies will be ready and prepared to read and write better. This will be the perfect pick-me-up my kids need. Many of them do not have their parents living with them and they will feel special having something so special just for them.
