When you read a good book, you like to make yourself comfy and snuggle up with something soft. If you are not in a comfortable place, you tend to become distracted and cut your reading time short. Our classroom environment should mimic our home environment when it comes to reading books. This will help us with our stamina in reading, as well as build our vocabulary and fluency. Exploration through books takes on a whole new meaning when you have a cozy place to read. The carpet will also be placed in a centrally located area of the classroom which will also allow us to comfortably make use of the technology in our classroom.
