The addition of these graphic novels will add to the library's collection. I will also designate an area of the library with flexible seating for these novels and the book club to meet. This will help in creating a stronger student-centered atmosphere in the library. My goal is to start a graphic novel club not only for those who are already avid readers and fans of the club, but to also reach out to some of those struggling readers who may discover interest and success in reading graphic novels. The best way to increase reading scores and lifelong readers is by presenting students with ownership and success in reading. Graphic Novels have proven to be a beneficial tool for this goal.

About my class
