I am blessed to work in the amazing school district. Our fantastic staff is dedicated to our students and want to see them succeed. We also want to provide them with the best resources to make that possible. Students can learn a concept in many different ways. When you can make connections to something in their life that they are familiar with, they are more likely to remember that information. In a Pre-k classroom we encourage hands on learning to explore learning goals. This gives them the opportunity to create independence and connections. Technology is a big part of their world, so we have to find ways to integrate it into the classroom. iPads brings education to life, which helps the students be more engaged and excited to learn. iPads provide endless possibilities at their fingertips Having iPads in a classroom can be shared among students which promotes social skills or can be used independently. iPads can be integrated into other learning into the classroom such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), literacy, reading, and many more. They can be customized to the student to work on a specific skills.
