I chose the Engineering Construction kits to engage my students in hands-on learning allowing them to build skyscrapers, vehicles, and roller coasters with the K'Nex. They can design a new invention with the IQ Builder. These STEM kits will help the students challenge each other to think outside the box and problem solve. By creating a Marble Run they will also be able to explore the laws of inertia and momentum through the speed of the marble and height of the run. These kits will give them confidence to build at their pace and their designs. The donations will allow the students to stray away from paper and pencil learning and create and explore with their own two hands.
