These materials will allow my students to participate in hands-on laboratory experiments in both the classroom and Patterson Park right across the street! Research consistently shows that children who have opportunities to actively investigate natural settings and engage in problem-based learning greatly benefit from the experiences. They gain skills, interests, knowledge, aspirations, and motivation to learn more. The Vernier LabQuest materials will take learning from the text book to the real-world. These materials are high-tech and give students great practice with content and the tools of science. I can't wait to get to work with my new students as we learn side-by-side to learn and have fun!
