During my two years at Amistad High School I have done everything I can to transform my classroom environment from the traditional into the non traditional for my students. I incorporate home furnishings into my classroom in order to make my students feel relaxed and comfortable in their learning environment. Students at Amistad have struggled to find academic success at the traditionally structured high schools and I believe in providing them the opportunity to not just find success towards graduation, but to also find it in a place that makes them feel valued and worthy of a unique space to do it in.

About my class
