My students will be excited to see so many different seating options in our classroom. I was given two wobble chairs last year to use in my classroom. I was amazed by how engaged students became just by sitting in a new seat. My goal now is to have enough alternative seating options for every student. I am going to use alternative seating to help set the tone for out of the box thinking and creative problem-solving in my math class. With the addition of wobble chairs, yoga balls, and seat discs my students will be ready to tackle any math problem.
