Flexible furniture benefits students in a multitude of ways. Funding a Safco standing whiteboard work table will greatly benefit the learners in my US History 8 and Study Skills classroom. Studies show American students in the 21st century are less active than ever before. I have noted within the past few years there has been a significant increase in the amount of my students that want to move around during our classes. Many middle schoolers now prefer standing; sitting all day isn't conducive to their health or well-being. I want to work with this need and give them an optimal learning environment. Funding a lasting, sturdy, functional, work table will enable all students to utilize it as they learn and create in my classroom! The whiteboard will make project planning and studying a breeze! Thank You!
